Buying artificial Christmas trees for your business
Start with the product specification, the display space and the required arrival date. This checklist helps wholesale and commercial buyers prepare comparable requests and identify the details that need written confirmation before ordering.
Compare five specification fields
Each product can list five purchasing details: height or size range, foliage material, lighting options, minimum order quantity (MOQ) and estimated lead time. Use the SKU to identify the exact item when comparing products or requesting a quote. A missing field is a question for the sales team, rather than evidence that there is no minimum or that an item is immediately available. Record which details are essential and which can change, so alternatives can be assessed against the same brief.
Measure the complete display footprint
Record the available height, maximum width and access route before selecting a tree. Include the stand and topper in the height calculation, and allow space for branches, decorations and assembly. For example, a 3 m ceiling minus a 0.3 m topper and a 0.2 m design allowance leaves 2.5 m for the tree including its stand. This is a sizing example, not a product specification or a safety clearance. Check the packed dimensions against doorways, lifts and storage space as well as the final display position.
Separate order quantity from the delivery plan
State quantities by SKU and size, rather than giving only a combined total. Identify the delivery country, destination and required arrival date, and distinguish that date from dispatch. Ask how the proposed lead time relates to specification approval, production, packing and transport. If several sites need deliveries, include the quantity and deadline for each site. Confirm carton quantities, packaging needs and any labeling requirements in the quotation. Catalog images and indicative specifications help selection; availability, MOQ and delivery commitments remain subject to the formal quotation.
Request evidence for lighting and material claims
For a lit tree, specify the intended setting, lighting effect, power supply and destination market. Request the documentation applicable to the proposed model and configuration, and check that the product identifiers match. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission advises buyers to look for an artificial tree's fire-resistance statement and to use lights with an independent testing laboratory's safety label. These are purchasing checks; the guidance does not establish that any particular SPECIAL HAPPY product has a certification.

Check placement and operating instructions
The National Fire Protection Association's Christmas tree guidance recommends keeping a tree at least 3 feet (about 0.9 m) from heat sources and keeping exits clear. It also distinguishes indoor and outdoor lighting and directs users to follow the manufacturer's instructions for connecting light strands. Use this as general planning guidance, then confirm the venue's requirements and the instructions for the exact product and installation.
